How I can help
Many reasons might bring a person to therapy. People might look for support in response to things that are going on in their life now, or long-term issues that may arise from past experiences or relationships. Often people may feel stuck – in a certain place in their lives, or in patterns of behaviour that have a negative impact on them.
People may approach me seeking out therapy for some of the following reasons:
Anxiety, stress and overwhelming worries
Trauma and abuse
Identity, including sexual identity, and sense of belonging
Work related issues
Feelings of anger and frustration
Depression, sadness and low moods
Problems in relationships – family, romantic, work related
Loss; including bereavement and grief
Self-esteem, lack of confidence or issues around self-worth or body image
Suicidal thoughts, self-harm and OCD
